Dr Santanu Bag completed his MD training in Paediatrics from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow.  Subsequently, he   moved to the United Kingdom and did his MRCPCH. He then completed Higher Specialist Training in Paediatrics in London Deanery and received Certificate of completion of training (CCT) to become a paediatric consultant in the UK.   He received training in several world renowned hospitals including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital London and King’s College London. After obtaining CCT in Paediatrics  , he went on to work as Consultant in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. Subsequently, he worked as Consultant Neonatal Intensivist in Neonatal intensive care, North Wick Park Hospital, London. He also became a fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH).

His areas of interests are Neonatal Intensive care and Paediatric Neurology.

He is currently working as Associate Professor in VIMS,   Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan and also attached to other hospitals as a visiting consultant.
